The Tigers, 135 for three after 22 overs, would rely on Najmul Hossain Shanto to play a similar role as centurion Harry Tector. The southpaw has scored his ODI career’s fourth fifty, laced with six fours and a six so far.

From an underwhelming 40 for two in the tenth over, the Tigers brought up their hundred in the 17th over — courtesy of Shanto and Shakib Al Hasan’s 61-run stand off 47 balls. However, as the third-wicket partnership promised big, Shakib fell to a Curtis Campher delivery as the ace all-rounder’s chip shot found George Dockrell straight at point.
Dockrell took an easier catch this time around after his catch led to the dismissal of Tamim Iqbal (7). Earlier, Liton Das departed for a run-a-ball 21.
